Marvel Corner Boxes were the informational boxes in the upper left hand corners of Marvel comics in the 60's & 70's, what's known as the silver and bronze age of comics. This Silver Surfer is a composite of a few different boxes I used to pull the best image together. The illustration is the classic Jack King Kirby image used in the original box. The scans I use are in pretty rough shape given the age and the size of the original. I surgically rebuild the images taking care to leave as much of the original document as possible while still giving a good crisp image.
